New Features: MyChartCentral and Lucy

Whether you are receiving care at Cleveland Clinic or other healthcare organizations, it can be challenging to keep track of all your medical information. Cleveland Clinic MyChart is now offering two features that will help you manage all of your healthcare information on the go, safely and securely.

• MyChartCentral is a secure portal that enables you to individually access your Cleveland Clinic MyChart account and your MyChart accounts from other healthcare organizations.
  
  
• Lucy is a personal health record tool that combines and organizes your medical information from all of your individual MyChart accounts into one space. This unique tool also enables you to upload medical documents and add new health data for your personal use.

Using a single username and password, MyChartCentral allows easy access to all of your individual, active MyChart accounts and your Lucy personal health record tool.

Automatic Release of Test Results in MyChart

Cleveland Clinic is committed to providing timely access to your health information. This means that you may receive some test results before your provider has reviewed them.

Several tests are released to MyChart as soon as the results are available. Other, more sensitive test results, (such as biopsies and imaging) are released after a short delay. We are releasing these results to partner with our patients and ensure you are making the most informed decisions regarding your healthcare.

These test results could include sensitive information. Examples include results related to a cancer diagnosis, genetic testing or the sex of your baby in a fetal ultrasound. If you are not comfortable seeing this information before you have discussed your results with your provider, please wait to view them.

Scheduling Appointments in MyChart: Physicals vs. Office Visits

The Schedule An Appointment feature enables the instant booking of appointments with your established primary care providers.

Two types of appointments may be scheduled using this feature: office visits and physicals. Follow these tips to ensure you are selecting the right type of visit for your needs:

Choose an Office Visit / Child Office Visit appointment for a new, non-urgent, health issue, or if your provider instructed you to schedule a follow-up to a previous appointment.

• Example health issues include: flu, back pain, blood pressure follow-up.
  
  
• Office visits cannot be used to schedule a yearly physical as these appointment slots do not allow enough time for your provider to complete a comprehensive physical exam.

Choose a Yearly Physical Exam / Well Child Check appointment for your annual comprehensive physical with your primary care provider.

• This includes sports, camp and daycare physicals.

New Feature for Florida MyChart Users: FastPass

When you are on the wait list to re-schedule an appointment for an earlier date, Fast Pass will automatically send you an email notification if an appointment becomes available. Simply log in to MyChart to review accept the new time slot, which will automatically schedule the new appointment and cancel the original one. If you'd like, you may keep your original appointment. This feature is currently available in Dermatology, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine and Family Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Florida, and is coming soon to Ohio and Nevada. Each appointment slot is offered to multiple patients at once and is scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Offers will expire if another patient accepts the appointment first.

MyChart Enhances Online Scheduling Options for Primary Care in Florida

Cleveland Clinic MyChart users now have an additional option for instantly scheduling appointments in the departments of internal medicine and family medicine (adults only) at all Florida locations.

• Option 1: Use the Schedule My Appointment Feature to schedule an appointment with your primary care provider (someone you've in the last three years) for the date and time that works best for you.
  
  
• Option 2: If you do not see a date and time that works for you, simply click on the Search for additional available appointments link located within the Schedule My Appointment feature pages to view the open schedules of any of our primary care providers at any of our locations. Follow the instructions provided to instantly schedule an appointment at your preferred date, time and location.
  
  
• Option 3: Don't have a primary care provider at Cleveland Clinic Florida? Use the Find a Doctor tool on clevelandclinic.org, select the physician of your choice, and click the Schedule an Appointment button in the physician's profile. Follow the instructions provided to instantly schedule an appointment at your preferred date, time and location.

MyChart Now Displays the "Preferred First Name" Listed in Your Medical Record

If you have notified your care team that you would like to be addressed by a name other than your legal name, this preferred name will now display in MyChart upon logging in. Your preferred name will not replace your legal name within your Cleveland Clinic medical record. If you would like to remove a preferred name from your medical record, please notify your care team at your next appointment.
