We Heard You: Test Result Release Updates

Based on your feedback, we have updated the schedule for the automatic release of test results in MyChart, giving you faster access to the information you need. The following six routine lab results will now automatically release into MyChart the same day the test is resulted:

• Basic Metabolic Panels
• Complete Blood Count
• Comprehensive Metabolic Panels
• Hemoglobin A1C
• Lipid Panels
• Thyroid Stimulating Hormone

Online Patient Education Programs in MyChart

Cleveland Clinic contracts with a company called Emmi to offer educational content to our patients in MyChart. These online programs provide easy-to-understand information regarding health conditions, treatments and procedures. If your provider determines that a particular Emmi program may be beneficial to you, you will receive a notification message in MyChart with instructions. MyChart Enhances Online Scheduling Options for Pediatrics

Cleveland Clinic MyChart users now have an additional option for directly scheduling appointments in the department of General Pediatrics.

• Option 1: Use the Schedule My Appointment Feature to schedule an appointment with your child’s established pediatrician (someone they’ve seen in the last three years) for the date and time that works best for you.
  
  
• Option 2: If you do not see a date and time that works for you, simply click on the “Search for additional available appointments” link located within the Schedule My Appointment feature pages to view the open schedules of any of our pediatricians at any of our locations. Follow the instructions provided to instantly schedule an appointment at your preferred date, time and location.
  
  
• Option 3: Don’t have a pediatrician at Cleveland Clinic? Use the Find a Doctor tool on clevelandclinic.org, select the pediatrician of your choice, and click the “Schedule an Appointment” button in the provider’s profile. Follow the instructions provided to instantly schedule an appointment at your preferred date, time and location.

Push Notifications in the MyChart Mobile App

MyChart Mobile App users may opt to receive notifications on their mobile device when there is new information to view in MyChart. These notifications will not contain any personal health information. Review the Quick Reference Guide to learn how to enable and disable these notifications.

Tell Us About Your Flu Vaccine

At the end of the current flu season, all MyChart users without a documented flu vaccine will be asked to complete a questionnaire that will give you the option to notify us if you received the vaccine at a non-Cleveland Clinic location. This will help us to keep your medical records at Cleveland Clinic up-to-date.
